"Cause they know something good this way comes...."

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers. It has been a nice day here, 26 with lots of sun. Dad and I watched the Jays game until it was obvious that they were going to lose again. We had a good dinner of chicken, scalloped potatoes and green beans. Right now I am watching the U.S. Open, a very crowded field with Tiger leading and 1 or 2 other golfers with a chance to win.

Earlier I listened to Jakob Dylan's new album Seeing Things, which I liked. Then I decided to listen to his father's last album Modern Times, which I also like. I have friends who can't stand Bob Dylan and I have never been a huge fan compared to other legends of music. I respect his songwriting but a lot of his songs sound better when others sing them. Though Modern Times is brilliant, it is great songwriting and very easy to listen to for Dylan.

Last night I watched the movie Vantage Point. I heard bad to mixed reviews of the movie but I thought it was okay, interesting and watchable, not great though. It passed some of a boring Saturday night. Below is a link to information about the movie.

Well that is all for a Sunday.
Today's clips and lyrics are Spirit On The Water by Bob Dylan, Closer To You by The Wallflowers and below Something Good This Way Comes by Jakob Dylan.
