"There's a piece of Maria in every song I sing...."

Mrs. Potter's Lullaby by Counting Crows
An interesting article about the search for the real Maria, the early muse of Adam Duritz but she hasn't appeared lyrically since the above lullaby.

The weather is horrible, okay, that might be a bit extreme. The change in temperature has given me a summer cold and it is annoying me. Today it is rainy and will not reach 20. The sneezing, running nose and sniffling are not fun. My throat is better today, extra strength halls and tea have help there.
So this blog has become a sparse collection of entries. I get bored of things very easily but such is life. I think I will still post a couple of times a week but really can't think of much to write about. Read the news, read books, listen to music and watch movies. The more you know, the more you can afford to comment on life. Though knowledge isn't everything, it is knowing what to do with it and when to do it. Most of the time silence is better than noise. You will learn and perhaps I will as well.
It is our individualized tastes that matter and not what the masses deem as fit. The only thing they are fit for, is to be tied up and censored.
Canada will most likely be having an election in the early fall and before America, we need to reassert our liberal values and take back control of the government. The less Harper secrecy, the better.
And for most creative artists there is a piece of their muse, real or fictional in every thing they do. It really doesn't matter who they are, or whether they are real, because we are all in the imagination of imagination.
